ISPS Handa Vic Open -- Victoria Australia (southern Australia)
------ THE FIRST TIME THE LPGA HAS PLAYED THIS EVENT IN AUSTRALIA
------ THE TOURNAMENT IS BOTH A WOMEN’S AND A MEN’S TOURNAMENT
There are two golf courses at the 13th Beach Golf Links in Victoria, Australia. The men will play at one course and women will play at the other. Except -- for the final round, the women’s leaders and the men’s leaders will alternate foursomes. This has been a very popular event for Australian golf but for the first time, the LPGA Tour will join the men’s European Tour and offer it to the world.
