The Road to the CME Grand Finale Tournament & Celebration
This is a season-long "race". In each of the 34 events on the 2018 LPGA Tour, players earn points for how well they played in each tournament. see http://www.lpga.com/race-to-cme-globe/explanation-and-points-structure
At the end of the season -- the last tournament -- The CME Group Tour Championship Nov 15-18, 2018, the LPGA Tour convenes for the grand finale at the Tiburon course (Greg Norman design) in Naples Florida.
At he CME Group Tour Championship, there are two prizes to be won. The first is for the player with the most total points (including the final CME tournament). The second prize of $1 MILLION dollars is awarded to the player who wins the final tournament itself.
